About Becca
My name is Becca (middle name Jane) and I'm a craftswoman from Huntsville, where I live with my wonderful partner Kyle in our tiny home in the forest. My love for gemstones and gemstone jewellery began as a teenager and has continued to grow as I learned more about the healing benefits that gemstones and precious metals have on our bodies.
After teaching myself the basics of jewellery making and attending craft shows for many years, I had a desire to continue learning and improving my skills which led me to Georgian College in Barrie, where I studied in their Jewellery and Metals program. I worked hard for 2 years during the Pandemic and graduated with a Diploma and Silversmith Certification. I have learned a variety of techniques that have expanded my abilities and ultimately created endless possibilities for new designs.
Over the past 10 years, I have acquired equipment and tools that I use in my home studio where I create custom pieces, perform repairs, and continue to expand my jewellery making skills. I work with new and recycled materials including but not limited to, sterling silver and natural gemstones, copper, brass, stainless steel, silverware and resin. My focus is to create comfortable and quality jewellery that makes people feel good.
Growing up in Muskoka, I have always been an outdoorsy person. I love to be on the water and in the sun. Kyle and I have kayaks and a canoe where we explore Muskoka's rivers, sight see and even do some fishing. Camping is next on the list as I enjoy waking up to the sounds of nature and cooking on a fire. My favourite part about summer (second to market season) is campfires with friends.
